The Sex Beat column in today's Carnal Nation online sex culture magazine has a nice interview with Jennifer, including a discussion of the recent Australian film festival ban on Matinée.

San Francisco-based online sex culture magazine Carnal Nation (tagline: “Personal. Political. Perverted”) ran an article in their Sex Beat column today about Blue Artichoke Films.

Interviewer Lauren Wissot — herself a filmmaker, the co-director of Un Piede di Roman Polanski, an homage to Roman Polanski’s foot fetish — asks Jennifer some very good questions about the philosophical underpinnings of Matinée’s plot, the implications of Australia’s festival ban on Matinée, and the pressure to apply genre labels in the erotic art-fim world.

Thanks to Carnal Nation, and to Lauren Wissot for an especially thoughtful interview.
