From April 10-15, Porn Film Festival Vienna will once again embark on the ambitious mission of showcasing and celebrating the vibrant diversity of pornography while sparking open, societal conversations. The festival is dedicated to bringing a genre typically confined to private spaces back into the public realm of cinema.

At Porn Film Festival Vienna, we defy the monotony of conservative mainstream adult content, proudly presenting feminist, queer, and LGBTQIA+ perspectives. Our carefully curated film and theory program feature a diverse selection of feature films, documentaries, and shorts that explore a wide spectrum of sexual orientations, identities, and body norms. This is far from your typical cheesy mainstream porn; expect groundbreaking narratives that challenge norms.
Beyond the screen, PFFV extends its impact with engaging Q&A sessions with filmmakers, thought-provoking panel discussions, insightful lectures, and our renowned workshops, making the festival a holistic experience over four immersive days.
Our aim is to foster an open and inclusive environment for reception, discussion, and reflection. The festival strives to challenge and broaden horizons, creating a safe space for collective dialogue on pornography, sexuality, and sexual identity. We believe that porn can be sensual, honest, friendly, and self-determined. As someone who has been to a million porn film festivals, I can also note that the programming team and the volunteer team are both efficient and enthusiastic. They create a great vibe for the festival. Can’t wait to go again!
