Blue Artichoke Films

Shop FAQ

Will my DVD(s) be sent in a plain package?

Yes, your privacy is our utmost concern. “Blue Artichoke Films” appears nowhere on the package, and the packing is plain with a generic return address.

Are these European DVDs or American ones? How do I know if it will work well with my system?

We make both European and American versions — but rest assured that we’ll match the format of the DVD to the country of your shipping address, so you get the correct type. And all of our DVDs are Region 0, meaning they are region-free and so you can play them on any player available in your country. Plus, all computers with a DVD drive (desktops and laptops alike) will read your DVD perfectly.

By what methods can I buy DVDs?

Right now there are several ways to pay, from any country! These include credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and JCB), local European DirectPay payment systems like iDEAL and GiroPay (you will see the logos of the ones relevant to your country), direct bank withdrawal (EUDebit), and paying electronically by USA check using your bank account and check routing number (ACH). At checkout, you’ll see a full list of the payment options that are relevant to your country.

My credit card was rejected — what can I do?

Check your email Inbox, and you will likely have an orange email from CCBill (our payment processor). Give them a call. usually they just need to confirm your bank details in cases where the shipping address and billing address are different, etc.

I want to pay via European bank transfer, but it’s asking me for a “routing number” I don’t have – what’s up?

If you are in Europe and using a “proxy server” or IP address anonymizer, the system might mistakenly ask you for an additional routing number. Not a problem — just change your country, then change it back to the correct country. Then it should work fine without that information.

I received an email confirming my “subscription”, but what I bought was a DVD(s). Why is that?

Oof, we’re sorry for the confusion. This is a known flaw in our processor CCBill’s  system. They are trying to fix the email so it says “product” instead, but it’s taking a bit longer than we thought. You can take it as a positive sign that we received your DVD order and are processing it!

How long will it take to receive my DVD order?

Your DVD(s) will be shipped in a discreet package within 24 hours and will arrive within the timeframe below:

  • Netherlands: 2 days
    Europe: 3-5 days
    USA: 2-4 days

If you live in another country, please contact us for an estimate prior to ordering.
