XXXPlicit Dance program at ZED Festival
After the rousing success of the wildly creative explicit-sex-in-dance program curated by Cinedans Fest Amsterdam’s Andreas Hannes, and Choreoscope Barcelona Dance Film Festival‘s Loránd János, the XXXplicit Dance program , has been brought by popular demand to Bologna Italy. The ZED Festivale Internationale Videodans will be showing this exciting thematic screening inspired by the historical relationship between dance and sex. This collection of films includes work from collectives and directors from all over the world that have dedicated their work to capturing dance and movement through explicit acts. From sex-ed and docufiction to video-clips and phantasmagorical cross-genre short films, we promise an exciting and adventurous screening.
Adorn in XXXPlicit Dance
Why is our very explicit erotic film playing in a dance film festival, you might wonder?
The unusual creation of Adorn, allowing the performers freedom to improvise within a set space, led to a Adorn looking remarkably like some kind of dance as the two performers follow each other so closely.
The first half of Adorn will be shown due to time constraints — the full film is 30 minutes, and there are too many XXPlicit Dance shorts to accommodate such a long piece. .But we don’t mind! If you like what you see, you can come back here to watch the full Adorn film.

The story of Adorn
“An experimental erotic game. A man and a woman face each other naked; by the end they are mostly clothed and utterly exhausted. What happens in between is unique and completely improvised by the performers themselves. Restrained by the rules of their game, there is laughing, teasing, fighting, fucking, fingering, kissing. A love scene in reverse.”
