This brand-new porn film festival aims to challenge the relationship between porn and other art forms:

“The 1st edition of Vienna’s very own Porn Film Festival will take place over four days, with a diverse mix of national and international films, documentaries and short films being presented. But this is not the porn you imagine. Blurring the lines between sexuality, art and cinema; the festival aims to broaden perspectives to the question, “WHAT IS PORN?””

The organizers have invited me to be involved three ways, and I most gratefully accept:

• To serve on the festival jury
• To give an evening presentation showing my work and talking about the relationship between my feminism and my porn
• To screen my film Silver Shoes in its entirety, and do a Q&A after

It’s an honor to be so involved. And it will be my first time in Vienna, so I’m very excited.

The latter two events aren’t yet scheduled, but I’ll let you know when I know more. Hope some of you can come!
