As part of the fabulous CineKink NYC film festival taking place this February 24-March 1, CineKink has invited Jennifer to lead a post-festival Sunday afternoon workshop called “From Fantasy To Film: Intro to Making Your Own Porn”.
Intended for anyone who’s ever been curious about porn and alternative erotica, this is a fun, low-stress way to learn about the medium of film and start imagining what YOU would do if you were to make a porn film of your very own.
This unique, DIY workshop will address:
erotic exploration: what turns you on?
Jennifer will give you exercises to tweak your erotic imagination and help you decide what you’d personally love to see on film, no matter how soft or hard.
translating to film
Jennifer will walk you through some porn genres and styles to help you choose how you want express your idea. Maybe you’ll even come up with something new. You’ll make your own storyboard to take home.
tips and tricks
Jennifer is a filmmaker herself, and has also heard the inside scoop from lots of other porn directors. She’ll share secret tips for beginners on what to do and what to avoid when making your movie.
As the workshop description emphasizes, “Workshop will feature presentation of several explicit clips, including samples of Jennifer’s work. There will be no nudity required or actual sexual activity involved.” Also, all genders are welcome.
Happily, you won’t have to miss any movies to attend the workshop. After the last Saturday screenings, this is a relaxing way to spend a lazy Sunday recharging for the AfterGlow awards and afterparty.
