We received a letter today, and we’re happy to announce that Matinee is an official selection of the 10th annual Melbourne Underground Film Festival.

MUFF is a self-proclaimed independent, rebel film festival that aims to cut against the grain. They specialize in artistic, controversial, avant-garde, sexual, and political films.

The festival this year will be August 22-30, 2009. Stay tuned for the actual screening slot; we’ll post it as soon as we know.
