After the sellout success of Jennifer’s yearly Porn FilmFestival Berlin workshops on making your own filmic porn/erotica, we got inspired to come back to Berlin and teach the“From Fantasy To Film: Design Your Own Porn/Erotic Film”workshop throughout the year.
On Saturday afternoon March 7, 2015, Jennifer will teach her workshop at Sexclusivitäten in Berlin. This workshop is hosted by sex educator and activist Laura Méritt.
THE DESCRIPTION:
Imagine a perfect porn film, designed with your own erotic tastes and quirks in mind. Guess what? – You can make it! In this beginner’s workshop, award-winning filmmaker Jennifer Lyon Bell of Blue Artichoke Films (Netherlands/USA) gives you the tools to plan and create your very own porn movie – whether you later decide to pick up a camera and do it, or whether you just like knowing that you could.
- Erotic exploration – What turns you on? Jennifer will give you exercises to tweak your erotic imagination and help you decide what you’d personally love to see on film, no matter how soft or hard.
- Translating to film – Jennifer will show you some porn genres and styles to help you choose how you want express your idea. Maybe you’ll even come up with something new. You’ll make your own storyboard to take home.
- Tips and tricks – Jennifer is a filmmaker herself, and has also heard the inside scoop from lots of other porn directors. She’ll share secret tips for Beginners on what to do and what to avoid when making your movie.
All genders are welcome. We strive to create a safe, non-judgmental place where you can explore your ideas. Jennifer will conduct the workshop in English, but translators will be on hand to help our German speakers understand everything, and small group discussions can be in German if preferred.
