CineKink hosts International Premiere of new film collaboration Des Jours

Murielle and I are thrilled that "Des Jours Plus Belles Que La Nuit" has been invited to New York for its International Premiere at CineKink, the most prestigious erotic film festival in America.

On Friday February 19th, Jennifer and Murielle Scherre will be proudly presenting the International Premiere of their new film “Des Jours Plus Belles Que La Nuit”/”Skin. Like. Sun.”  at the CineKink/NYC 2010 festival.

Des Jours has screened only once, at the Stout(st)e Dromen feminist festival in Antwerp Belgium. Stout(ste) Dromen commissioned Jennifer and Murielle to collaborate on a feminist film, and Des Jours was the intriguing result.

This CineKink screening offers the first chance to see this film in the USA.

“Des Jours Plus Belles Que La Nuit” is the first collaboration between Jennifer and artist/DJ/author/lingerie-designer Murielle Scherre, aka La Fille D’O.

The film is an homage to real, explicit love shot in real-time. Starring a young Belgian couple, the film tries to capture what sex feels like, rather than looks like. Shot with the female character’s perspective in mind, and choosing to leave in the kissing, banter, and foreplay alongside the more traditional hot elements, Des Jours Plus Belles Que La Nuit is a decidedly unusual — and touching — approach to cinematic sex.

CineKink NYC, dubbed “The X-rated Sundance,” encourages “the positive depiction of sexuality and kink from documentary to drama, camp comedy to hot porn, mildly spicy to quite explicit and everything in between.”

Soon Des Jours will hopefully be available in the USA as well as in Europe, but you’ll have to be patient. For now –come to CineKink!

Special thanks to CineKink for the opportunity and for hosting a consistently intriguing and entertaining selection. Jennifer and Murielle are gutted they can’t come enjoy CineKink this year in person, but they’ll be there in spirit!
