Delightfully, Matinée has been invited for its French premiere at the Strasbourg International Film Festival, with "creative, edgy, out-of-the-box and maverick filmmakers in all genres including experimental and avant-garde as well as more traditional dramas, thrillers, romantic comedies, daring documentaries, and wild ride animation."

We’re happy to announce that Matinée will have its French premiere at the Strasbourg International Film Festival. Matinée will screen with the feature film “The Why”:

Friday, August 28, 2009 at Midnight
Sunday, Sept 6th, 2009 at 10:00pm

The location is the Zanzibar theater in Strasbourg, France.

The festival’s mission is:

  • …to show the works of new and emerging filmmakers. SiFF will showcase creative, edgy, out-of-the-box and maverick filmmakers in all genres including experimental and avant-garde as well as more traditional dramas, thrillers, romantic comedies, daring documentaries, and wild ride animation.

The festival runs from August 28-September 6, 2009.
