Porn FilmFestival Berlin workshops
The Porn FilmFestival Berlin, one of our very favorite events of the year, will be holding workshops in October. I’ll be teaching a special workshop called “Porn 101: Make Your Own Porn”.
Most years at the festival, I teach a class or workshop about a topic I care about that’s related to porn. This will be the first time at the festival that my emphasis will be less on feminism and more on helping you dig into your erotic imagination, whatever it may hold for you! It will be fun, creative, and safe. You’ll learn lots about filmmaking too. The workshop is open to all genders and orientations.
Let’s get inspired by the festival atmosphere to plan some great films of our own!

Porn 101: Make Your Own Porn
Award-winning erotic filmmaker Jennifer Lyon Bell of Blue Artichoke Films gives you the tools to plan and create your very own porn movie — whether you later decide to pick up a camera and do it, or whether you just like knowing that you could.
EROTIC EXPLORATION – What turns you on? Jennifer will give you fun exercises to tweak your erotic imagination and help you decide what you’d personally love to see on film, no matter how soft/hard/kinky/vanilla.
TRANSLATING TO FILM – Jennifer will walk you through some porn genres and styles to help you choose how you want express your idea. Maybe you’ll even come up with something new. You’ll make your own storyboard to take home.
TIPS & TRICKS – Jennifer is a filmmaker herself, and often gets to hear the inside scoop from lots of other porn directors (and porn performers) who she meets. So she can share secret tips with you on what to do — and what to avoid — when making your movie.
