Matinée reaches #1 on Dusk cable channel

At Dusk, the world's first female-friendly porn channel, we have just learned that our erotic theater drama Matinée is now rated the #1 Favorite Film by Dusk's viewers.

Last year, the Netherlands launched a new female-friendly erotic cable TV channel called Dusk. Not only is Dusk a surprisingly original offering in today’s worldwide cable palette — how is it possible that there’s nothing like this in the U.S. or in Holland already? — it certainly seems like offering women a curated selection of porn and erotica is a modern idea whose time has come.

Moreover, Dusk lets women themselves fine-tune the channel’s offerings. First, Dusk has secured a rotating panel of female ‘experts’ to evaluate the quality of the films. Then, they invite female viewers to join a separate online Dusk Panel and evaluate filmclips from the top selections themselves. Only the highest-rated films run on the channel. So Dusk is truly “For women, by women.”‘

We’ve been friends of Dusk since before the channel was launched, and we’re thrilled to hear that it’s rolling out throughout Holland, not least on Holland’s biggest cable providers Ziggo and UPC. Next stop: All of Europe!
But the best news?..

The female Dusk Panel has evaluated all of Dusk’s top films and has rated Matinee as #1!

They felt Matinee most exemplified the principles of female-friendly porn/erotica, which Dusk has nicknamed “Porna”.

We’re glad to be satisfying Dusk’s female viewers, and we look forward to making lots more they’re sure to enjoy.
